ovarian cyst!

~~im so exhausted~~

I went to S.I Hospital today for a tutorial with Dr.C and joined him for his surgeries afterward. He was so nice and he likes medical students..=)

I got a chance to scrubbed in another major gynae surgery today. The lady is a 51 y.o who presented with a grossly distended abdomen. She had a 30cm ovarian cyst in her right ovary!!!!!Can u imagine that???30cm and not 30mm… She is a thin lady and so the distended abdomen become more obvious for her. The cyst was so big that it pushes away all the organs inside the abdomen...huhu....Dr.C and his team did take few pictures of her-; before, during and after. Ngeee...

Anyway before we removed the cyst, we had to drain the fluid in the cyst.. And anyone want to have a guess of how much fluid we drained from her cyst?anyone?anyone?

No!!its more than that!!Its 18200ml!!!fuuuuuhh..18200ml ok!!and everyone in the theathre were busy helping us with the drainage..Yopit been the tukang tulis fluid on the whiteboard while fahmi jadi tukang tukar suction tubes and bags…18200ml!!!can u imagine that?18200ml fluid just in the cyst??????

HUhu..the fluid is blackish and brownish in colour and cyst tu sangat besar.. I got a chance to put my hand inside the pelvic cavity and abdomen cavity as well..I can feel the mass in that cyst and I can feel the liver as well while godek2 in her abdomen!!!hahaha…cool gilee!!hehe..:P..and I can see and feel the appendix as well!!lalala…

Eventho I didn’t do anything in that surgery but I still feel great for being able to watch the surgery closer and for being able to feel the 30cm cyst which might be a borderline ovarian cancer according to Dr.C…coolll!!..haha..

Owh kalau nak tahu betapa besarnye cyst tu, Dr.C siap cakap lagi my body size is in the same size with that cyst!!hahaha..:p..of course he was joking but mmg besar ok!!sangat2 besar!!!

Ok saya nak baring supaya tidak mendapat varicose vein apabila tua nanti akibat banyak bediri ari ni...!!!
