Exhausted.
Didnt see any labour today but got a chance to scrubbed in for Caesarian Section.
And jadi tukang ape je?
Tukang retract and tukang gunting...
Joined Dr.B for 2 gynae surgeries and both were rare and interesting cases.
1st case was vulval intraepithelial neoplasm(VIN) and the second one was ruptured ectopic pregancy..
Dr.B said that VIN is usually due to the trauma and laceration caused by sex toys.
And usually patients are too embarassed to admit it until u told them the consequences of VIN and bla bla..
The second patient has bicornuate uterus and she had ectopic pregnancy in fimbrial. She presented this morning with severe right abdominal pain and vomitting. And during abdominal examination, the right upper quadrant was resonant. Usually u will find dullness in that area due to the liver but in her case it was resonant because air was trapped in that area due to the ruptured ectopic pregancy. Dr.B told me that normally woman with ectopic pregnancy will present in the hospital in her 6-7weeks of gestation but this lady presented in her 9 weeks of gestation and the reason behind it was that the ectopic pregnancy got a chance to grw larger in fimbrial compared to other places in Fallopian tube and so lambat sket nak detect and lambat sket jugak utk cause the problem(pain, bleeding etc).Ngeee...Kalau salah sila marah Dr.B..saye xbace lagi so xtahu betol ke x..hahaha..
